meShare to Debut Cloud Platform at CES 2019
meShare will be featured at CES 2019 in the Smart Home Marketplace for the first time
CHAMPAIGN, IL [December 12, 2018] -- meShare, a technology company, will introduce its cloud platform for IoT devices at the 2019 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas from January 8-11, 2019. This is meShare's first year exhibiting at CES. The company will offer demonstrations of its cloud platform and technology roadmap at CES in the Smart Home Marketplace at Booth 42731, Sands Expo, Halls A-D.
Founded in 2014, meShare's cloud platform is used to build the next generation of connected devices for the smart home. meShare employs 100 technologists across its three campuses in California, Illinois and Shenzhen, China. At the close of 2018, meShare's IoT platform connects 5.0 million devices and has 1.8 million registered users.
The Mini Cam has a 1080p HD camera that captures crisp video footage and sees the whole room with a 140-degree viewing angle. In the evening, the camera uses night vision to see what moves in the dark. Motion clips recorded are sent as alerts through the mobile app and saved for seven days. Users can even tap into their camera's live stream and use two-way audio to talk with what's on screen.
"The growth has been tremendous," said Kevin Wan, CEO & Founder. "meShare's platform connects millions of devices that help people monitor, automate and secure their homes."
From pet cameras to smart security cameras, device manufacturers use meShare's cloud platform to build, host and manage IoT products. Product teams use meShare’s SDK to build apps or connect their devices directly to meShare’s mobile application. Hosting solutions are available through meShare’s Illinois-based data center.
Consumers interact with devices built on meShare through mobile applications. Through the app, they set up their device, control their device and tailor device settings from one easy-to-use application. For camera-based products, when movement is detected the user receives an alert with a video clip. Video clips are stored in the meShare cloud for twelve hours, or with a monthly subscription users gain access to enhanced video editing tools and longer clip storage.
